Perth Scorchers have roared into the finals after finishing on top of the table but old arch-rivals Sydney Sixers stand between them and a home grand final.

The Scorchers aren’t the only ones bringing the heat as temperatures hit 39 degrees at Optus Stadium.

However, Steve Smith is in rare batting form and could scorch the home side if they miss the mark.
