Fremantle made a brilliant start to their campaign with a statement victory over Brisbane in round one and are now looking to consolidate their gains.

However, they will need to do it without Brennan Cox and Oscar McDonald after the pair suffered devastating long-term injuries last week.

Josh Draper has been handed a debut and will have a tough task against the Kangaroos’ spearheads.

That’s where we’ll leave it

A game of two halves that one but for Freo it’s the best start since 2015 and when they get rolling they look hard to stop. Next up is Adelaide on Good Friday, until then by for now.

FULL TIME: North Melbourne 11.10 (76) 15.12 (102)

What a turnaround for the Dockers who were nowhere in that first quarter. But for the second game in a row they fought back this time with nine straight goals. North Melbourne could of made it interesting if they had kicked straight to start the fourth but in the end it was a comfortable win for the Dockers.

Caleb Serong was immense again with 35 disposals and eight clearances while Luke Jackson had two goals and 25 disposals and seven clearances

Roos get a consolation

Bailey Scott kicks a nice goal to flatter the scores but that will do it.

Freo pass 100 points

North Melbourne makes an absolute meal of it out the middle as Colby McKercher kicks the ball backwards instead of picking it up and Jeremy Sharp is there with a coll finish to push the Dockers past 100 points

North Melbourne let the Dockers off

North Melbourne have dominated this quarter but have kicked 1.5 to let the Dockers off the hook. They’ve had plenty of opportunities to make a game of this last quarter but Banfield takes an uncontested mark as the Dockers get just their third inside 50 this quarter and that should be the game.
