Fremantle show no signs of stopping as they look for an incredible 15th straight win against a GWS side ravaged by injuries.

The Dockers have gone in unchanged for their clash in the capital, while the Giants will field two debutants with Max Gruzewski and Brent Daniels joining their growing injury list.

They have also rested Phoenix Gothard and Leek Aleer as Fremantle look to extend their adavantage at the top of the AFL ladder.

Young and done

Hayden Young is out of the game for Fremantle with a groin injury.

He is back in the tracksuit on the bench.

The Dockers are in real danger of being upset here.

They have not got their turnover game going at all and the Giants’ defence is having time to adjust.

Sam Taylor has beaten Treacy so far today but a late goal from Voss gives the men in purple some momentum going into the break.

Serong and Worner have been good but Young has had just 10 touches and has a few mates behind him.

Number five

Stringer has a fifth and every Freo defender has now had a crack at him.

Most of his advantage has come from quick delivery in the middle but Pearce has been on him this quarter and has his hands full.

Dopey

Dudley gives away a 50-metre penalty for not manning the mark properly and the Giants now have a break.

The Dockers are struggling to get their movement going and have struggled with Jackson spending large periods resting forward.

The Giants have had eight of the last 10 inside 50s.

Beware!

The Giants are not giving the Dockers anything.

Bedford does a reverse side-step to shake the defender before handing off to Rowston streaming past along the boundary.

Rowston then unleashes from against the boundary and swings it through the big sticks for a beauty.

GWS 67, FRE 53

Entry denied

The Giants are doing a good job of chopping off Fremantle’s inside 50s.

Serong’s latest was a poor kick but the home side are being proactive in getting ahead of the big forwards.

Whitfield out

The Giants’ star man has been ruled out of the match with concussion.

Whitfield was huge in the second term but a late elbow to the head in a marking contest by Darcy has ended his day.

The Dockers have failed to capitalise on the breeze and the Giants have taken advantage.

Fremantle have been scrappy exiting their defensive 50 and it’s allowed the Giants to put pressure on with repeat entries.

The home side have now turned around the disposal battle and are winning it quite clearly and lead clearances 24 to 16.

Whitfield is the big difference for GWS with a huge term but he will face a concussion test after a big accidental elbow from Darcy in the final marking contest of the half.

Worner leads Fremantle with 17 disposals.

Big battle

The match-up to watch at the moment has been Cox on Cadman.

The pair are fighting tooth and nail in the Giants forward line.

Cox has had a few nervy moments but has held him off until now.

The Freo defender was caught behind the young forward and a sizzling entry puts the ball on his chest.

The young man can’t finish the work though which would have given the Giants a two-goal lead.
