No path to Government for the Coalition: 7NEWS

7NEWS’ Hugh Whitfield has said there is no clear path to Government for the Coalition.

We believe there is no path to victory for the Coalition at all tonight. It will either be a minority or majority Labor Government, with Anthony Albanese returned as Prime Minister.

We’ve had our first seat flip from the Liberal Party to the Labor Party. The seat of Bass in Tasmania is the first time tonight that we are seeing Labor gain ground.
