Excitement was building along Rockingham’s coast on Thursday as crews worked to remove a yacht from Palm Beach as part of the new season Aussie Salvage Squad.

Aussie Salvage Squad explores the high-stakes work of the men and women of Geographe Marine Salvage and Rescue.

The City was approached by the show’s crew after “Renee Louise” ran aground in late winter as result of a storm.

It was one of seven vessels grounded as a result of storms during the season.
