A breakdown on Kwinana Freeway southbound has thrown motorists into peak hour traffic chaos on Tuesday evening.
The breakdown was located before Armadale Road at Jandakot and was reported by Main Roads at 4.55pm.
The right lane of the Freeway was temporarily closed by Incident Response.
The breakdown has since been cleared, but traffic remains slow leading up to the site.
Main Roads has reminded motorists to drive with care if travelling in the area.
