Aussie Eurovision star Danny Estrin launched his new SBS car series in Northbridge on Thursday, inviting enthusiasts and special guests to share in his love for cars.
Titled Precious Metal: A Love Story, the entertainment series is about “obsession, individuality and the soul of the automobile”, and will tell the stories of people who bear a genuine passion for cars.
Estrin is the frontman of Perth-based band Voyager, which placed ninth in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest after performing Promise.
Beyond the music, he is a lover of classic and quirky cars, and promises to bring his wit and warmth to the show as he explores the people behind the machines.
Precious Metal: A Love Story premieres September 2 on SBS.
