Scarborough Beach Weekender
Saturday March 28 and Sunday March 29, 3pm, Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre, Scarborough

This festival has an enviable location right on the ocean and promises good tunes and great vibes. Saturday’s headliner is L.A.B., with Corrella, Sub-Tribe and Saritah also on the bill. Sunday is headlined by Xavier Rudd. You can also catch Sons of the East, ThornBird, Caravana Sun and Tia Gostelow.
Single day tickets $138.35 to $230.05 (for VIP), or weekend tickets $220.85 to $389.15 (VIP).
Fenians Festival
Saturday March 28 to Sunday March 29, various locations in Fremantle and City Beach
In 1876, six Irish political prisoners escaped from Fremantle, made their way to Rockingham and met American whaling ship The Catalpa, which had sailed across the world to rescue the men. This daring maritime adventure is being celebrated with a festival which includes Irish singer-songwriter Declan O’Rourke playing at the Quarry Amphitheatre, and a family day on the Sunday at Fremantle’s WA Maritime Museum.

Disco Club

Podcasters Lise and Sarah bring their popular girls’ night out event to WA. Female DJs will spin classics from the 80s, 90s, 00s and beyond. They promise to have everything you used to love about nightclubbing with fewer of the downsides. Wear comfortable shoes.

Oz Comic Con

Gamers, collectors and cosplayers will enjoy this festival of fandom. Guests include Brandon Rogers (Helluva Boss), Renee O’Connor (Xena: Warrior Princess), Michaela Jill Murphy, also known as Jessie Flower (Avatar: The Last Airbender), and The Walking Dead stars Chandler Riggs and Ross Marquand. There will be celebrity panels, interactive gaming, artist showcases, exclusive merchandise and the return of the Australian Championships of Cosplay.
Tickets $21 (for children five to 12) or $40 (adults). Family pass $95 (two adults and two kids).
Gloria — A Triple Bill
Tuesday March 31 and Wednesday April 1, 7:30pm and 1pm, His Majesty’s Theatre, Perth

Co3 Contemporary Dance Australia and The New Zealand Dance Company are coming together to honour choreographer, the late Douglas Wright, with the restaging of his masterpiece Gloria. On a triple bill, there will also be the works A Moving Portrait from Co3’s founding artistic director Raewyn Hill, and Lament, from artistic director of The New Zealand Dance Company Moss Paterson.

Fremantle International Street Arts Festival
Friday April 3 to Monday April 6, streets of Fremantle

The port city comes alive over the Easter weekend as the streets become a stage for some of the best street performers from around the world. There will be 160 acts from acrobats and street comedians to circus acts and more. Artists from Australia, the UK, France, China, Japan, Spain, the USA and Chile deliver a program of some of the best street art from around the world.
