Neuromuscular WA’s VIP supporters and community members banded together to help raise more than $100k at the organisation’s largest annual fundraising event on June 26.
Held at Fremantle’s Blue HQ for the first time due to renovations at its regular home of Kailis Bros Leederville, the core purpose and spirit of the Kailis Club soiree remained.
Broadcaster Simon Beaumont returned as host alongside Robert “Tiny” Holly who brought humour, energy and expertise to the live auction as guests enjoyed a selection of canapes and premium wines.
Neuromuscular WA CEO Hayley Lethlean highlighted the role her organisation plays in assisting West Aussies, and thanked supporters for their generosity.
“Kailis Club is so much more than a fundraiser. It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate what’s possible and make a real difference in the lives of people living with neuromuscular conditions,” she said.
“Demand for our services continues to grow, and events like this help ensure we can continue supporting individuals and families when they need us most.”
Funds raised on the night supported Neuromuscular WA’s services, including NDIS support, advocacy, information and resources, social programs, equipment assistance and initiatives promoting independence and resilience.
