You don’t need a passport to experience the flavours of Peru this winter.

For one week only, Pan Pacific Perth’s acclaimed restaurant Uma will honour Peruvian Independence Week with a special dining experience showcasing the country’s rich culinary traditions, alongside live music and cultural performances.

Running from July 28 to August 1, the limited-edition Journey Through Peru menu has been created by head chef Javiera Gomez and executive chef Xerxes Bodhanwala, offering diners a contemporary take on some of Peru’s most well-known dishes.

The $139-per-person set menu features classics including ceviche chalaquita and lomo saltado, alongside a selection of new creations inspired by the country’s diverse culinary heritage. Guests can also have a curated wine pairing for an additional $45 per person.

The celebrations extend beyond the plate on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, when Uma will host live cultural performances throughout the evening.

Peruvian Independence Week at Uma runs nightly from 5.30pm to 11pm between July 28 and August 1, with bookings recommended.
