+ The First Steps Hiking Series starts on Saturday, June 13. The 10-week program with weekly two-hour guided hikes in the Perth Hills aims to slowly build skills and confidence, and is $450 per person.
Off The Beaten Track WA founder Tracy Jones says: “People tell us all the time that they want to start hiking, but they don’t know where to begin.
“They’re unsure about gear, fitness, or whether they’ll be able to keep up.
“The Hike Project is designed to remove that uncertainty and give people a clear, supportive starting point.”
