Flight Centre has launched its World360 Rewards program — giving travellers a chance to collect points.

the KEY POINTS

+ It is free to join — and new members get a $249 Member Plus tier to lock in 15,000 bonus points, airport lounge passes, delay protection and more.

+ Travellers can earn on all travel booked across Flight Centre, Travel Associates and Cruiseabout.

+ That covers more than 500 airlines (with no blackout dates), over 40 cruise lines, 900,000 hotels, and tours and experiences.

+ Points can also be earned by using more than 300 partners, from ANZ bank to Bupa health.

+ Redeem points on any travel product available in market at Flight Centre, Cruiseabout and Travel Associates.

+ And there are exclusive, points-only travel deals in a World360 Rewards Store.

the FULL STORY

Instead of challenging other travel loyalty programs, World360 Rewards is a complementary program that doesn’t come at the expense of loyalty to your favourite airline, says James Kavanagh, Flight Centre Travel Group’s global leisure chief executive.

“Travel is the point (or points) of this game-changing new loyalty program,” he explains.

“With World360 Rewards you earn points on every flight, every fare class, every airline, as well as all the other important parts of your holiday booking including hotels, cruises, tours and experiences.”

James adds: “There are a number of well-established airline loyalty programs out there and we know Aussies have a deep love for these. The gap we identified is in making sure travellers are rewarded for the whole travel journey with more choice and opportunity to not just earn but redeem points across the whole holiday experience.”

the LAUNCH OFFER

World360 Rewards members will be able to unlock three times the points with selected partners as part of a launch incentive.

Twelve travel partner companies are putting their best deals forward for the World360 Rewards launch.

They include cruise lines Viking, Norwegian Cruise Line and Regent Seven Seas to touring companies like Collette and Trafalgar, and airlines such as Air New Zealand

“These accelerated points earning boosters mean a member family booking a holiday with our participating travel partners can triple their points haul, significantly reducing the cost of future travel,” James says.

“You can earn three times the World360 Rewards points and earn with your airline to maintain your status while also getting points with your credit card provider. No other program brings this together in one place.”

Members can also redeem points (from single day tours to full holiday packages) at World360 Rewards’ Rewards Store.
