The average price of unleaded petrol in Perth will jump 12 cents per litre tomorrow.
Plenty of service stations will be selling below the average of 187.6c, including one for less than 150c/L.
Burk Cannington will be selling for 149.3c — four cents cheaper than today’s bowser price and 10c below what any other outlet across Perth is offering on Wednesday.
The price of diesel in Perth continues to drop, down a further two cents per litre to 242.8c.
The Vibe truckstop in Oakford will be the only outlet selling for under $2/L, but plenty have diesel cheaper than 220c.
With more than 80 metropolitan outlets selling unleaded for less than 170c, Fuelwatch urged drivers to shop around and to only purchase the fuel they need to fill their vehicles, not to stockpile.
“Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 100 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $60 on a 60-litre tank,” a Fuelwatch statement said.
