West Coast has lost their midfield coach Nathan Van Berlo, with the former Adelaide captain set to return to his old club for the 2021 season.

Van Berlo has agreed to join the Crows’ coaching panel, which will be revamped after the club collected the wooden spoon with a dismal 3-14 record this season.

Van Berlo, the captain of the Crows from 2011-2014, will return to South Australia at the end of West Coast’s finals campaign.

The 34-year-old was a development coach with Adelaide in 2017 before joining the Eagles as a stoppages coach in their 2018 premiership season.
