Returning Fremantle midfielder Darcy Tucker also avoided suspension but was slapped with a $2000 rough conduct fine.

Tucker was charged for his dangerous tackle on West Coast captain Luke Shuey during the second quarter of his side’s narrow loss.

It was assessed as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.

Because of his good record, Tucker can accept the reduced $2000 fine with an early guilty plea.

The incident was deemed to be careless conduct, medium impact and high contact, meaning he will miss the Blues’ season opener against two-time reigning premiers Richmond at the MCG on March 18.

GWS Giants midfielder Stephen Coniglio and Port Adelaide speedster Karl Amon were both fined.
