It’s the video series no WA footy fan should miss - an eight-part epic that showcases the highlight-reel retro superstars of WAFL years gone by.

The biggest names of yesteryear are front and centre once more for Wayback WAFL, an action-packed trip down memory lane featuring the players who helped lift the sport to new heights in WA and beyond.

Starting on Monday September 11, we’ll feature one player each day - with some pairs of brilliant brothers thrown in - as we count down to the current-day WAFL grand final showpiece later this month.

Kicking off the series will be the electrifying Krakouer brothers, whose highlight reels will be timely viewing on the day Phil joins his sibling Jimmy in the WA Football Hall of Fame at the Sandover Medal count.
