Port Adelaide coach Josh Carr is demanding a full team effort to quell Geelong's star goalkicker Jeremy Cameron in their Anzac Day clash.

Cameron enters Saturday night's Adelaide Oval fixture brimming with confidence after a 10-goal haul in the Cats' win over the Western Bulldogs last weekend.

Carr appears set to deploy Miles Bergman or Lachie Jones on Cameron, but says they alone can't get the job done.

"It looks a bit different because Cameron, he can be deep in the forward 50 and then he can go up to a stoppage," Carr told reporters on Friday.

"And we're going to need more than Miles Bergman to play on Cameron to get the job done - Lachie Jones, he's done it before.

"That's a probably a bit of everyone - and that's on the team as well to make sure we're defending well as a team, and not giving him the service ... we need everyone."

The Power, in 12th spot with two wins and four losses, will be underdogs against perennial contenders Geelong, perched in a sixth place with four victories and two defeats.

But first-year coach Carr said belief was building within his playing group, evidenced by last week's three-point away loss to Hawthorn.

"The players are more confident in what we're doing, more confident in their own roles within that system," he said.

"Early on, there's a lot of players questioning - making sure, am I in the right position, aren't I in the right position?

"It becomes more natural in the way that we're playing and they're feeling more comfortable in the way that we play."

Carr named an unchanged team while the Cats recalled Mark O'Connor and Jack Henry to replace Jake Kolodjashnij and Oliver Wiltshire.

Geelong's Irishman Oisin Mullen will play hish 50th AFL game and appears set for a tagging role on Port's acting game and prime mover Zak Butters.

"You plan for him to get tagged every week so it's no different," Carr said.

"Most likely it will happen. But if it doesn't, I guess that's a bonus.

"They have tagged both Hornet (Jason Horne-Francis) and Butters before and you're always planning - you're ready for whatever they throw your way.

"But it's a bit like the Jeremy Cameron scenario, you have got to make sure everyone is playing well as a team."
