Geelong star Jeremy Cameron has been left bloodied in a bizarre unprovoked attack at a local pub, hours after his team’s loss to Fremantle.

Cameron was headbutted by another patron around 10.30pm while watching cricket in a small group.

He reportedly had an amicable conversation with the attacker just moments before the incident.

He was left bleeding from the mouth, but trained at Geelong today and the Cats say he will be fit to face Port Adelaide this weekend.

The club passed the incident on to the AFL’s integrity unit, who will investigate, however it is understood the premiership forward wants to move on from the headbutt.

He kicked 1.5 in the shock home loss to Fremantle on Saturday.
