Fremantle Dockers go unchanged for third straight game as Collingwood recall big guns for Gather Round
Fremantle will step back out onto Adelaide Oval with an unchanged line-up from last week’s thrilling win as Collingwood make three changes for their Gather Round clash.
The Dockers will return to the scene of their thrilling 2-point triumph over the Crows and will hope to bank another four points against a Pies outfit that was brushed aside by Brisbane.
The only tweaks are Karl Worner and Corey Wagner earning a starting role, with Matt Johnson and Judd McVee, who recorded a career high 23 disposals against the Crows, to start from the bench.
After his dramatic withdrawal just minutes before their clash against Brisbane, Nick Daicos has been cleared to face the Dockers, while Scott Pendlebury will also return.
The Pies will also unveil a debutant with first-year draftee Angus Anderson to make his debut, having been pick No.57 in last year’s draft.
“His contest and clearance stuff is his strength, and we play against an opposition that is number one in the competition for those parts of the game,” coach Craig McRae said ahead of his debut.
Son of a Fremantle gun Ed Allan has been left out, while Lachie Sullivan and Will Hayes have also been omitted.
