The peak-hour commute is expected to take a little longer, with heavy traffic backing up Kwinana Freeway northbound.

A crash at Mt Henry Bridge in Salter Point has been cleared but traffic remains heavy to Farrington Road.

The right lane has been reopened by the incident response team.

Drivers involved in the crash were out of their vehicles and motorists have been urged to drive with caution.

A car breakdown at South Terrace in Como has also caused heavy traffic back to Manning Road.

The left lane has been closed and incident response and police are on site.
