Perth traffic: Woman taken to RPH after vehicle rollover on Albany Highway at Greenfield Street in Cannington

A car rollover on a busy road in Perth’s south caused traffic delays for motorists on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred on Albany Highway northbound at Greenfield Street in Cannington about 1:50pm, resulting in the closure of the left lane.

Main Roads urged motorists to drive carefully as traffic was slow in the area before being cleared around 3:30pm.

A photograph posted to Main Roads’ X account shows a white vehicle rolled on to its roof as Police attend the scene.

A St John spokesperson said a woman in her 70s was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with no major injuries.
