A peak hour crash on a crash on Kwinana Freeway northbound is causing traffic mayhem as Perth commuters begin to head home for the weekend.

The crash is located at the intersection with South Street in Bateman and was reported by Main Roads at 4.44pm.

The right lane has been blocked by the crash and towing services are on site.

Traffic is slow leading up to the incident.

Another crash at Mitchell Freeway northbound has been reported in Perth’s north.

The incident, which is located at Reid Highway in Gwelup, was reported by Main Roads at 4.36pm.

The crash has since been cleared, but traffic remains slow on approach.

Main Roads has reminded motorists to drive with caution in both locations.

It’s been a chaotic day on Perth’s roads, with another crash reported on Roe Highway westbound on Friday afternoon.

The crash was located at Karel Avenue in Jandakot.

The two right lanes were blocked by the incident, with traffic heavy leading up to the site.

The crash has since been cleared, but traffic remains heavy on approach.

Earlier, a crash on Tonkin Highway northbound also caused delays on the major Perth road.

The crash was located at Kelvin Road in Maddington, and was reported by Main Roads at 3.29pm.

The incident closed the right lane of the Highway, and police were reported on the scene.

The crash has since been cleared.
