A man has been hit by a bus in Perth’s CBD as police close a major street in the city centre. Just before 4pm police received reports a man — believed to be in his 40s — was struck by a bus on Wellington Street. A St John spokesperson confirmed paramedics were in attendance and remained at the scene at 4.20pm. The man was conscious and breathing upon arrival. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and was transported to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance Wellington Street heading west was closed between William Street and Queen St before it was reopened around 4.45pm.
