Sydney dentist accused of drugging woman before sexually assaulting her facing new rape, sexual touching allegations against two more women

A Sydney dentist who allegedly drugged a woman with laughing gas before touching her breasts and genitals is now facing fresh allegations that he raped a woman and sexually touched another. Maged Fouad Farag, 61, allegedly drugged and then sexually assaulted a woman while she was completing training for a part-time job at his clinic, Rockdale Dental Care in 2024. He is alleged to have asked the woman to sign a nondisclosure form before asking her to undress so he could inspect her skin during her very first training session. He allegedly took photos of the woman while she was naked during the examination. Mr Farag is accused of again asking her to remove her clothes during a third training session before allegedly drugging her with nitrous oxide while she was naked on the examination bed. He touched her breasts, moved his fingers around her vagina, and sucked her nipple, court documents allege. Since his arrest, two more women have come forward claiming Mr Farag sexually touched them, with one of the women further alleging he sexually assaulted her. The alleged offences date back to 2019. Court documents have revealed Mr Farag allegedly sexually touched the second complainant without her consent while she was employed under him. He also allegedly had sexual intercourse with her without her consent that same year. A third complainant has also alleged that Mr Farag sexually touched her without her consent. Court documents claim the woman was “under the authority” of Mr Farag at the time of the alleged offence. It appears one of the new complainants has come forward recently, with Mr Farag’s lawyer asking for an adjournment to March 3 to allow time to go through evidence during a brief mention in the Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday. “There is a fresh sequence … related to a new complainant,” his lawyer told the court. “This has changed the scope of that so we will need some time for the brief of evidence.” Mr Farag has not yet entered any pleas to a series of charges relating to aggravated sexual assault, aggravated sexual touching, and cause to take intoxicating substance to commit indictable offence.
