Stanley and Margaret Hall are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Stanley Hall and Margaret Weaire were first introduced to each other through mutual friends.

The couple hit it off and soon began dating, before they married on May 5, 1962.

Attendants were bridesmaids Anna Perie and Helena Wallace, flower girls Valerie and Heather Hall and best men Les Hillier and Ronnie Thompson.

The couple went on to have one daughter, Leanne Knowler, and are grandparents to Vanessa, Bronwyn and Amy.

They have lived in Rockingham for 11 years and Kwinana for 20 years.

Margaret, 79 is the eldest of six children. She grew up and attended school in Mandurah and has worked as a factory worker for most of her life.

Stanley, 82 is the second eldest son of 11 children. He grew up and attended school in Donnybrook and worked as a storeman.

The couple enjoy spending time together, playing badminton and tennis at a club in Jandakot.

Both are excellent gardeners and whenever a family member needs help they are always there to assist in any way they can.

Family comes first in everything they do. They are very proud of Leanne and all of their grandchildren.
