A sensational 94 not out from Satinder Singh led Kwinana’s One-Day Ds to victory in their T20 clash with Jandakot Park while the two-day grades fall short.

Singh attacked from ball one at Atwell Oval on Saturday, blasting 12 fours and a six as he took the sting out of Jandakot’s bowlers.

Rohit Bhola joined the fun, smashing an unbeaten 39 as Kwinana posted 3-168.

Rocco Ferrero did his best to get Jandakot over the line by hitting 63, but Kwinana’s bowling unit was too strong, holding the home side to 5-114.

Sukhdeep Dhillon claimed 2-21.

One-Day Gs also got the better of Jandakot at Gilmore College Oval.

Set 103 for victory, the chase got tight but Kwinana managed to pass the total and end the game on 7-116.

A mammoth effort from Brett Kearney (6-50) and Mark James (3-53) was not quite enough to see 3rd Grade defend 94 against Piara Waters.

Piara Waters resumed on day two at Orelia Oval one wicket down and managed a small partnership before Kearney struck.

Kwinana continued to take regular wickets as the batting side crept closer.

However, Piara Waters was able to stem the loss of wickets for long enough to pass the total and declare at 9-115 to have a crack at the outright, which Kwinana avoided, ending the game at 4-67.

6th Grade also managed to avoid being outrighted after being rolled for 50 chasing 178.

An unbeaten 59 from Scott Benjamin steered the visitors to safety at Mills Park 2 while youngster Byron Newton showed his talent, making 19 as Kwinana ended the day 4-128.
