An electrifying musical six-piece are set to entertain crowds in Bertram for the Summer Sounds concert in the park. The City of Kwinana’s family-friendly event promises an evening of free live entertainment led by Perth band SWITCH on February 17. Centennial Park will transform into a hive of activity, with an array of food trucks on offer, along with a plethora of free children’s activities including bubbles, face painting and mini golf. Mayor Peter Feasey said the Kwinana Summer Sounds events were highly popular, building on the success of the previous events held in 2022 and 2023. “Our Summer Sounds events have featured some outstanding headline acts, and this event is no different,” he said. “The electrifying six-piece band SWITCH will transform Centennial Park in Westmoreland Circle into a vibrant hub and people are encouraged to walk or cycle down to the park. “Bring a picnic blanket, enjoy the fun yet relaxed atmosphere of this local celebration and immerse yourself in the festivities.” More information at kwinana.wa.gov.au/summersounds.
