The City of Kwinana has announced the return of OMG! Fringe for 2023, set to be bigger and better than before with events over two nights and two locations. OMG! Fringe features a series of eclectic events the city says are sure to entertain, entice and amuse the senses. From adults-only shows and family variety fun to community arts, dancing and perhaps something a little more risque, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Food trucks will be available at The Grove, next to the Koorliny Arts Centre, and Honeywood Oval in Wandi. The Grove will also host a pop-up bar for punters to enjoy before shows or for locals to socialise and catch up. The first round of shows will be on Saturday, April 29 at Honeywood Oval, followed by the main event at The Grove on Saturday, May 6, with an evening of fun, high-energy circus performances and more. OMG! Fringe 2023 features a mix of free and ticketed events, with show tickets ranging between $5 and $40. Kwinana mayor Carol Adams said the festival would see a huge variety of shows offering punters laughter, fun and a bit of chaos. “There will be laugh-out-loud fun with the Pocket Sized Circus, controlled chaos with BMXers Freestyle Now and a whole lot of heat with the Zap Circus Fire Spectacular at Honeywood,” Ms Adams said. “Then, down at The Grove, the fun will continue with Circus Ricochet followed by a musical of the calm and the storm with The Lost Quays and all bangers, no clangers with Strip, Rattle and Roll.” To see the full program or purchases tickets, visit www.kwinana.wa.gov.au/omg.
