Luxury Day Care Centre to open doors in Golden Bay
Baby massages and a chef are just two of the extravagant features at Golden Bay’s newest early childhood education and care facility.
The Great Beginnings Golden Bay centre, set to open in coming months, also offers yoga and play-led learning, with the facility focusing on age-based small group learning hubs.
The centre will have places for 100 children, starting at $120 a day, easing the skyrocketing demand for services at the nearby Great Beginnings Secret Harbour centre.
Golden Bay centre manager and mother of two Casey Verbakel said tours of the new centre have begun and would allow families to meet the team and explore Great Beginnings’ service offerings.
“Our team is so excited to meet the growing community and showcase what’s in store for kids who join our centre family,” she said.
“We will provide a premium service including nappies, extra curriculum activities, prepared meals from our very own in-house cook, Nadia, who has worked for almost a decade with food. We will also have a breakfast lounge area for families to visit if they wish to speak to our educators and pop in for tea or coffee before work.
“One of our team members is qualified in baby massage and she cannot wait to share her teachings with families.”
Ms Verbakel will use her more than 10 years of experience in early education to lead a team of 20 and deliver the learning program exclusive to Great Beginnings’ parent company, G8 Education.
“Children will have opportunities to participate in weekly art classes, yoga classes, worm farming and vegetable growing activities, as well as outdoor excursions around the local area on our brand new four and six-seater prams,” Ms Verbakel said.
To register for a tour, families are invited to contact the centre’s family care team on 1800 517 394.
