A 41-year-old Warnbro man has been charged after an alleged hit and run incident in Jandakot on Saturday, February 8.

About 3am, a 22-year old man was travelling as a passenger in a ride-share vehicle. He exited the car on Solomon Road and was then struck by a passing car.

The second vehicle did not stop and continued to travel along Solomon Road before turning right onto Jandakot Road.

The victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

The driver was charged with failing to stop and ensure assistance received after an incident occasioning grievous bodily harm and failing to report an incident occasioning grievous bodily harm.

He will appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court today.
