Trio charged after Waikiki drug raid

Three people have been arrested after Rockingham detectives executed a search warrant at a Waikiki home yesterday.

During the search of the Resolution Drive residence, police seized a quantity of drugs and cash. Also located was a stolen Mitsubishi vehicle and a stolen motorcycle.

A 41-year-old Waikiki woman has been charged with possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell and supply, wilfully destroying evidence, possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property (cash) and possessing methylamphetamine.

Her bail was refused and she appeared in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.

A 44-year-old Waikiki man was charged with possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell and supply, possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property (cash), possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property (stolen motorcycle), possessing cannabis, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing methylamphetamine.

He will appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court on August 6.

A 31-year-old Baldivis woman was charged with possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property (cash), possessing methylamphetamine and possessing drug paraphernalia. She will appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court at a later undetermined date.
