Boys charged over alleged Waikiki party rampage
Two teenagers are facing serious charges relating to an out-of control party in Waikiki earlier this month.
At about midnight on Saturday, December 2, police allege a 15-year-old boy, of Collie, climbed the fence of a property on Mends Way.
The boy allegedly picked up a star picket and threw it through a sliding glass door at the rear of the home.
Another boy, aged 14, allegedly punched a 28-year-old man in the back of the head who was standing outside a house on Mends Way.
The 15-year-old has been charged with trespassing and endangering the life, health or safety of a person, while the 14-year-old has been charged with common assault.
Both boys are due to appear in the Rockingham Children’s Court on January 3.
Mounted police attended the Waikiki gathering after fights broke out when about 20 gatecrashers descended on the property.
