Kensington Palace has released a statement on Kate Middleton’s health as speculation continues to circulate online after a string of devastating health scares have hit the royal family.

In an effort to reassure well-wishers a royal spokesperson said, “Kensington Palace made it clear in January the timelines of the princess’ recovery and we’d only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands.”

Officials added that Kate continues to do “well” and plans to return to royal engagements after Easter.

The update comes as royal commentators warned the Royal family to be more open about why Prince William was absent from his godfather’s memorial, which was attributed to an unspecified “personal reason”.

It is unknown is William’s absence relates to the recovery of his wife however, the family were clear that it was not connected to the sudden and tragic death of Thomas Kingston — the husband of Lady Gabriella Windsor.

The Prince of Wales had not been seen since the Bafta awards in London earlier this month until he visited the Western Marble Arch Synagogue in central London.

While on a visit there he met Holocaust survivor Renee Salt, 94, who was imprisoned in Auschwitz.

Renee told him she “missed Kate so much” as she continues to stay away from public duties amid her surgery recovery, adding, “I’m sorry, I’m sure that if your wife would’ve been well, she would’ve been here.

“I miss her so much. Give her my best wishes, please.”

During the visit William declared he and his wife were “extremely concerned about the alarming rise in anti-Semitism” across the world.
