Rockingham crash leaves 79yo woman hurt

Police are searching for information in relation to a car crash which left a 79-year-old woman with serious injuries.

The crash occurred on Goddard Road, near Leeuwin Parade in Rockingham earlier this month.

Police say that about 10.40am on Thursday, March 7, a silver Nissan Pulsar, travelling in a Northerly direction, swerved to miss a bus that was stationary at a bus stop.

The driver continued over a median strip and hit a silver Hyundai Tuscon, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The 79-year-old woman was a passenger in the Tuscon.
