Lauren Sorrell Sibohn: Drug dealer set to be sentenced for selling trafficable methylamphetamine

A Mt Tarcoola drug dealer who sold, or offered to sell, a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine has pleaded guilty and will be sentenced later this year.

Lauren Sibohn Sorrell appeared in Geraldton Magistrates Court on Thursday, where she pleaded guilty to a raft of drug charges, including sold or supplied, or offered to sell or supply, a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine.

She also pleaded guilty to driving with prescribed illicit drug in oral fluid or blood, wilfully destroy evidence, four counts of offer to sell or supply methylamphetamine, offer to sell or supply a prohibited drug to another and while in WA engaged directly or indirectly in a transaction that involved any money or other property that is the proceeds of an offence.

The 31-year-old’s indictable matters were committed to the Geraldton District Court for sentencing on Wednesday, July 31.

Sorrell’s sentencing for the remaining charges will follow on September 26 in the Geraldton Magistrates Court.

Her bail was extended on current terms, which includes a $20,000 surety and a $10,000 personal undertaking.

She must not consume drugs and must comply with random drug testing.
