Wellard pair to face drug and weapons charges after home raid
A man and woman will face Rockingham Magistrates Court court today on drug and weapon charges after a search of a Bertram home.
On August 10, Rockingham detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in Bertram where it will be alleged they located and seized more than $70,000 in cash and about 33g of methylamphetamine.
Further inquiries by detectives resulted in a search warrant being executed yesterday at the same Bertram home and a connected residence in Wellard.
It will be alleged detectives located and seized a further 26g of methylamphetamine, molotov cocktails, knuckle dusters, hand guns, ammunition and drug paraphernalia.
A 26-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, both of Wellard, have been charged with numerous drug and weapon offences and will face court today.
