In the lead-up to Christmas the Rotary Club of Rockingham will host Twilight Markets, which will help the community make the most of the longer summer days.

The markets will run each Friday night, from December 6 to 20, from 4.30pm till 7.30pm and will have over 140 stalls, including over 10 food vans for each night.

There will also be live entertainment including several bands and singers, Santa Claus and his elves and more.

Rockingham Rotary Club president Beth Philipps said she was happy the event was running again.

“We held one in 2017 but skipped last year so it is great to bring it back,” she said.

“The last Twilight Markets ran later, from 6.30pm till 9.30pm, but we are pleased it is earlier this year as it will be more family-friendly.

“It will not be as cold and more people will be at the markets during twilight.”

Each night the markets will raise money for different causes which are yet to be decided on.

The markets will run at the Village Green car park and entry will cost a gold coin donation.
