A Rockingham teenager has been arrested and charged with a spate of burglaries and stolen motor vehicles across the Greater Perth region.

Police have charged the 16-year-old after a number of incidents in December and January, with the boy facing 15 charges.

It is alleged that the Rockingham boy stole vehicles and firearms in East Victoria Park, Serpentine and Oakford.

During a raid at a home in Seville Grove on Saturday, six stolen rifles were confiscated.

The boy was also linked to burglary and stealing offences in Roleystone, Lesmurdie, Byford, Karragullen, Seville Grove and Rockingham.

He faces six counts of stealing, five of stealing a motor vehicle, two counts of home burglary, one of aggravated home burglary and one of aggravated burglary.

He is due to appear at Perth Children’s Court next Thursday.
