A suspected drunk driver is being questioned by police after slamming his car into a Cloverdale home, causing “serious damage”, before fleeing the crash.

Miraculously, no one was injured when the blue Holden Commodore station wagon collided into one of the property’s bedrooms on the corner of Belgravia and Fullham streets about 6.45pm Tuesday.

The driver, a 28-year-old man, ran from the scene after he slammed into the house but returned a short time later and was arrested by police.
