Book lovers can grab a bargain when a variety of books go on sale over the next two weeks as part of the City of Rockingham’s annual summer book sale.

Residents will be able to select their favourites from categories including adult fiction, non-fiction, children’s material, magazines and more.

City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels encouraged readers to check out the selection on offer during the sale.

“The City’s annual summer book sale has become a popular event with library patrons over the years, with a wide range of titles across a number of different genres on offer,” he said.

“Whether you are a fan of gripping fiction mysteries, informative magazines, or simply prefer to find something interesting for your children to read, there will be something for everyone at the Rockingham Central Library’s summer book sale.

“No item for sale will cost more than $2, so be sure to grab yourself a bargain before books sell out,” he said.

The sale will be held at the Rockingham Central Library from this Saturday to next Saturday, February 16.

The library is located on Dixon Road, near the Murdoch University Rockingham Campus.
