Students explore different career options
Hillman Primary School students were exposed to a range of professions, trades and skills at the school’s first Career Day last month.
Students were visited by and had the opportunity to speak with the Rockingham police, St John Ambulance, Grange Physio-therapy, Notre Dame University, the City of Rockingham and CBH Group.
Principal Aaron Young said the Career Day aimed to make students aware of the opportunities available to them.
“There is no need for the students to pick a career right now but at least it gives students an idea of what is available,” he said.
“Hopefully, we can ignite some passion in the students.”
