Safety Bay man to face court over pharmacy robbery

A 33-year-old Safety Bay man will appear in court today after allegedly holding up a pharmacy in Cooloongup on Saturday.

Police say the man entered the premises about midday on Saturday and threatened staff, demanding money from the till.

Staff handed him an amount of cash and he fled.

Regional Investigation Unit officers arrested the man and charged him with robbery, with the accused due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court later today.
