Rockingham’s Christians Ready Equipped and Willing group will hold a quiz night next month to raise funds to help struggling families and homeless people in the Rockingham and Kwinana area.

The quiz will include 10 rounds with 10 questions, as well as several silent auctions, raffles, and other games.

CREW board member Garry Eves said the quiz night was about having fun, while raising money to help the CREW continue their services.

“The demand for our services is growing each month — there are more and more people struggling,” he said.

“We offer emergency relief packages, we have a team which directs people to services available in the local area, we have free barbecues once a week in Kwinana and Rockingham, and Monday lunches in Rockingham for homeless or struggling families. “We want to help people and just to lift them up however we can.”

The CREW’s third annual quiz night will kick off from 6pm at the Gary Holland Centre on Saturday, May 11.

Tables of 10 or individual tickets are available for purchase via Eventbrite.
