Up to 7mm of rain is set to fall as the temperature reaches 22C on Saturday afternoon.

The mercury will rise to 20C degrees on Sunday, with a possible shower bringing just 1mm expected.

The beginning of the week will see no rain, with a partly cloudy 19C on Monday.

However, Tuesday will see the start of a rainy few days, as up to 4mm and a 21C maximum on the cards.

Wednesday will see up to a whopping 25mm fall, with the chance of a thunderstorm in the morning and a 20C maximum.

Thursday will bring a shower or two, with up to 4mm expected and just a 19C maximum.

The rain is set to lift on Friday, after a chilly 5C minimum will lift to a partly cloudy 20C.

The sunshine will be back on Saturday, with a pleasant 22C maximum.

Perth’s runners will be hanging out for the Sunday forecast, with hopes for mild conditions for the City to Surf on August 30.
