Hundreds of passengers were forced to evacuate Perth Airport when a fire broke out in a kitchen on Friday morning.

Multiple flights have been delayed after firefighters were called to international terminal one to put out the fire.

Passengers were ushered outside in freezing weather, with Perth recording a 15-year low of 0.3C.

They spent an hour outdoors before being brought back in about 7am.
