Medina IGA attack
A man in his 30s has been taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries, after he was attacked by two carloads of people outside Medina IGA yesterday afternoon.
Police have said the man was with other family members about 2pm on June 29, when a number of people exited a white Toyota Prado and a silver Holden Commodore and assaulted him.
The two families are from the local area and have allegedly been feuding. While the weapon has not been found, reports to police indicate an axe was used.
The man received lacerations to his hand, arm and head and was conveyed by St John Ambulance to hospital for treatment.
Rockingham Detectives are investigating the incident and are searching the area for the offenders and the alleged weapons.
Anyone with information should call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
