Mayor wishes all a safe break

Carol AdamsSound Telegraph

On behalf of the City of Kwinana, I would like to wish all residents a happy Easter and a safe and relaxing break.

Easter is the perfect opportunity to spend some time outdoors and make the most of those sunny weekends while they last.

Fortunately for Kwinana residents, we have an abundance of green parks and reserves that are the perfect place to find a moment of peace and quiet in this busy time.

Perhaps less peaceful, but definitely more exciting, the Kwinana Adventure Park is must-visit spot this school holidays.

The Adventure Park has been a hive of activity since opening, and I’m sure the Easter break will be no different.

If you haven’t had the chance to get there yet, I encourage you to pack a picnic — the children are likely to want to stay all day.

As much as we love the break, the school holidays can be a costly time of year for families.

The City’s community centres are offering a great range of free and low-cost activities during the holidays.

From giant games to nature play activities, you will find something for every creative little mind.

If you’re going away for the Easter break, please take extra care on our roads, which are notoriously busy this time of year.

Whatever you have planned, I hope you enjoy some time off over Easter surrounded by friends and family.

See you back after the break.

Mayor Carol Adams
