Mandurah is gearing up for a bonanza of cycling fun and adventure for this year’s Bike Week.

Peel Region Cycle Instead Bikeweek will start on March 10 and run until March 26, with activities offered across the region for all ages and abilities.

Families and friends are encouraged to be part of the unique pedal-powered family movie night or come along to one of the other fun community events hosted by local agencies and businesses.

Local cycle clubs and groups will also be hosting social rides throughout the week in various localities or for those who enjoy the thrill of competition, cycle racing and BMX track racing have-a-try events will be on offer too.

The more adventurous riders can enjoy discovering and exploring cycle trails in the region on a family or mountain bike ride and for those people wanting to learn how to fix their bike, there will be a workshop on basic bike maintenance.

Those planning to go to the Mandurah Crabfest on March 18 and 19 are encouraged to use a healthy, congestion free transport option and cycle in the spirit of the fortnight long event.
