The young at heart will descend on Mandurah’s Eastern Foreshore for the popular Mandurah Children’s Festival on Sunday.

Now in its 15th year, festival highlights include a dress-up competition, creative workshops, rides, market stalls and live entertainment.

Children are encouraged to come dressed in their best discovery costume to take part in the popular dress-up costume.

The parade and judging takes place at 10.45am on the main stage with winners announced at 11.45am.

Free entertainment and activities bouncy castles, SciTech, performances, workshops, and Peel Zoo Displays.

There will also be a chance to win a unique doll house made by members of the Mandurah Men’s Shed.

The event is alcohol-free and smoke-free, with festival-goers asked not to bring dogs.

The festival starts at 10am and goes until 3pm.
