Man arrested after Parmelia burglaries

A man has been arrested by police after an alleged spate of burglaries in Parmelia this morning.

Rockingham Detectives say a man was located in Werloo Court after numerous reports of burglaries across the suburb were reported to police.

Burglaries allegedly occurred at homes on Aaron Lane, Milne Loop, Cimbor Way and Tunnicliffe Street between 7.05am and 7.40am.

A pursuit through a number of residential properties in Leda ensued at about 8am, with a man running through yards in Robbins Retreat, Porter Gardens and Goldney Court. He also allegedly ran across the roof of a house in Bilya Gardens.

The air-wing division helped several police vehicles in locating the accused perpetrator.
